Risk of death caused by electric shock 

Risk of death caused by coming into contact with electrical parts of the 220 V system. Electric shocks can cause fibrillation of the heart or even cardiac arrest. The effects of an electric shock may sometimes only appear after a few minutes; for this reason always consult a physician.

Risk of injury caused by burns 

Electric shock or direct body contact with a power source can lead to burns or scalding.

Safety instructions/precautions 

Never  connect the 220 V power supply to an outside socket during any repair work.

Do not touch any live parts of the 220 V system.

Before beginning any work always:

All repair work should be performed only by a trained electrician or under the direction and supervision of a trained electrician. Persons who carry electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers) must not perform any work on these components.

When performing any repair work on the 220 V system, in accordance with the regulations, appropriate insulating protective clothing must be worn and insulating tools and protective devices must be used.

IMPORTANT Observe country-specific regulations.

First aid measures 

The person affected must be immediately removed from the electric circuit.

Use protective gloves and a wooden board or a wooden ladder to push or move the person out of the danger zone.

IMPORTANT First attempt to turn off the power.

IMPORTANT If any symptoms occur, consult a physician immediately.
