Safety precautions/instructions
- Protective clothing, safety glasses and heat-resistant gloves must always be worn.

First aid measures
- Cool the affected skin areas under cold running water for at least 15 min.
- Disinfect minor burns because there is a high risk of infection with burn injuries.
- Cover severe burns with a sterile dressing only and consult a physician as quickly as possible.
- Cover burn injuries with sterile dressings, ideally with metalized compresses or burn injury dressings.
