Wear cotton gloves. Ensure that no fingerprints are present in the area of the bonding surface. To prevent adhesion problems when installing the window, keep the bonding surface free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive substances.
- Cut down present glue beads (1, 2) on flange to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
.
Do not leave more than 2 mm of present adhesive beads (1, 2). Remove glue residues from glue beads (1, 2) not completely cut off.
- Repair paint damage on panoramic roof frame.
- Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present
