| 8 | Use a diode test lamp to check the on-board electrical system for voltage between the positive line (6) and a suitable ground point | If the diode test lamp lights up, the on-board electrical system is still active because of a defect in the electrical system. In this case: ↓ Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery. |

| 12 | Detach vent hose (8) from additional battery for ECO start/stop function (G1/13) | Check bleed hose (8) is correctly seated on additional battery for ECO start/stop function (G1/13). Otherwise, emitted battery vapor may damage surrounding components. |
