1	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003EW
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105EW
3	Drain coolant	ENGINE 157 in MODEL 212, 218 with TRANSMISSION 722.97	AR20.00-P-1142EL
4	Detach coolant lines from coolant pump	ENGINE 157 in MODEL 212, 218 with TRANSMISSION 722.97
5	Remove fan unit	ENGINE 278 in MODEL 207	AR20.40-P-5050CW
		ENGINE 157, 278 in MODEL 212, 218	AR20.40-P-5050EL
6.1	Remover radiator package	ENGINE 157 in MODEL 212, 218 with TRANSMISSION 722.97

6.2	Attach radiator guard plate	ENGINE 278 in MODEL 207, 212, 218

7	Remove poly-V belt		AR13.20-P-0001ELB
8	Detach rack-and-pinion steering from front axle carrier and lower	ENGINE 157 in MODEL 212 with TRANSMISSION 722.97 with CODE 211 (Direct-Steer system) ENGINE 157 in MODEL 218 with TRANSMISSION 722.97	AR46.20-P-0600EL
9	Disconnect electrical connection (6)
10	Remove cap (7), unscrew nut and remove electrical line (5) from alternator (G2)	Nut, circuit B+ to alternator	*BA15.40-P-1002-01F
11	Remove screw/bolts (3) of alternator (G2)	Bolt, alternator to timing case	*BA15.40-P-1001-01F
12	Take alternator (G2) down and out
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Check cooling system for leaktightness	ENGINE 157 in MODEL 212, 218 with TRANSMISSION 722.97	AR20.00-P-1010EL
