| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Open engine hood | ||
| 2 | Remove engine cover | ||
| 3 | Expose purge lines on cylinder head cover | ||
| 4 | Detach air intake pipe and place with attached purge lines to one side | AR09.10-P-8131MTA | |
| 5 | Disconnect the electrical connection (1) to electronic wastegate (3) | ||
| 6 | Remove screw/bolts (2) and remove electronic wastegate (1) upwards | *BA09.40-P-1012-01X | |
| 7 | Clean contact surface on ATL (4) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||

| Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
