| 2 | Remove engine cover | ||
| 3 | Remove oil separator | AR01.20-P-9750MTA | |
| 4 | Remove low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir | AR20.30-P-4951MTA | |
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connection at partial load operation crankcase ventilation system valve (Y58/2). | ||
| 6 | Detach partial load purge valve from holder | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connections at charge air temperature sensor downstream of throttle valve (B17/9), pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7) and throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
| 8 | Expose electrical wiring harness | ||
| 9 | Slacken screw/bolts (1) in the reverse order of the tightening procedure and remove. | AR09.41-P-1312-01MT | |

| 10 | Remove charge air distributor upwards | ||
| Carry out operation steps 11 to 13 when replacing the charge air distributor | |||
| 11 | Detach partial load purge line | ||
| 12 | Detach throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | AR07.61-P-1401MTA | |
| 13 | Detach charge air temperature sensor downstream of throttle valve (B17/9) and pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7) | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 15 | Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary | ||
