Bring up workshop level on instrument cluster - AP00.20-P-0046A

  Open workshop level     
1 Close engine hood, doors and trunk lid or liftgate    
2 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "1" (circuit 15R) IMPORTANT There must be no fault messages in the multifunction display (6).  
3 Press system selection button (1) repeatedly until menu item "Trip" is highlighted in multifunction display (6), and then confirm with OK button. (3)    
4 Press scroll forward/back button (4) repeatedly until standard "Total distance" display appears in "Trip" menu in multifunction display (6) IMPORTANT Operation step 5 must be performed within approx. 5 s after the standard "Total distance" display appears.  
5 First press and hold down accept phone call button (2), then within 1 s additionally press OK button. (3) and hold down for approx. 5 s IMPORTANT The workshop menu with the following tabs appears in the multifunction display (6): "Vehicle data", "Dynamometer test",
"Change brake lining" (depending on equipment installed),
"ASSYST PLUS",
"Head-up-display" (depending on equipment installed).
 
  Close workshop level     
6 Press "Back" button (5) repeatedly until standard display (total distance) appears in multifunction display (6)    
7 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0"
