REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Move front seat all the way backwards and upwards If only the seat cushion inclination motor (1) is to be removed.  
1.2 Remove front seat and place to one side If the seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) or the seat height adjustment motor (3) is to be removed.  
      AR91.10-P-1000LW 
    IMPORTANT To permit removing the seat height adjustment motor (3), the front seat must not be moved upwards all the way.  
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key If only the seat cushion inclination motor (1) is to be removed.  
3 Disconnect electrical connector (1.5) When removing seat cushion inclination motor (1).  
4 Disconnect electrical connector from seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).  
5 Disconnect electrical connector (3.5) When removing seat height adjustment motor (3).  
6 Remove screw/bolt (1.4) When removing seat cushion inclination motor (1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace screw/bolt (1.4).
IMPORTANT Note left-hand thread of screw/bolt (1.4).
 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, linkage for electric motor for seat cushion inclination to seat adjustment unit upper section *BA91.10-P-1004-01T 
7 Unscrew nuts (1.1) When removing seat cushion inclination motor (1).  
8 Remove seat cushion inclination motor (1) with bracket (1.3) When removing seat cushion inclination motor (1).  
9 Remove screws/bolts (1.2) and take off seat cushion inclination motor (1) from bracket (1.3) When removing seat cushion inclination motor (1).  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, electric motor for seat cushion inclination to bracket *BA91.10-P-1003-01T 
10 Push catch hook (2.3) to one side and remove bracket (2.4) When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).  
11 Unclip shaft (2.2) from brackets of rail (2.1) When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).  
12 Slightly lift up seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) on starting point of shaft (2.2), carefully bend shaft (2.2) and pull out of seat adjustment unit When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).
NOTES
Do not lift up or twist seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) too much.
Otherwise, the guide pins (2.5) can be damaged.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure the guide rails are at the same level.
 
13 Remove seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) with shafts (2.2, 2.6) from rail (2.1) When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) is installed correctly at the guide pins (2.5) and shaft (2.6) in the seat adjustment unit.
 
14 Pull out shafts (2.2, 2.6) from seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2) When removing seat fore/aft adjustment motor (2).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check shafts (2.2, 2.6). In the event of complaints:
↓
Replace corresponding shaft (2.2 or 2.6).
 
15 Remove retaining ring (3.1) When removing seat height adjustment motor (3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check retaining ring (3.1). In the event of complaints:
↓
Replace retaining ring (3.1).
 
16 Remove screw/bolt (3.3) When removing seat height adjustment motor (3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace screw/bolt (3.3).
IMPORTANT Note left-hand thread of screw/bolt (3.3). Screw/bolt (3.3) is shorter than screws/bolts (3.2).
 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, electric motor for seat height adjustment to seat adjustment unit *BA91.10-P-1005-01T 
17 Remove screws/bolts (3.2) When removing seat height adjustment motor (3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace screws/bolts (3.2).
 
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, electric motor for seat height adjustment to seat adjustment unit *BA91.10-P-1005-01T 
18 Remove seat height adjustment motor (3) When removing seat height adjustment motor (3).  
19 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
20 Carry out function check
