	Remove/install
1	Remove outside mirror	Model 205 with code P49 (Mirror package) Model 253 with code P49 (Mirror package)	AR88.70-P-9000LW
		Model 222 except code Z07 (Top protection)	AR88.70-P-9000LF
		Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection)	AR88.70-P-9000LFS
2	Remove paneling from outside mirror		AR88.70-P-9040LF
3	Remove glass adjustment drive		AR88.70-P-9060LF
4	Remove coupling housing (8.3) and coupling housing (8.2) from wiring harness (8)
5	Remove retaining spring (4) and detach seal (5) from wiring harness (8)	The passage (5.1) in the seal (5) should be located on the rubber grommet (8.1) for the wiring harness (8).
6	Unclip cover (7) from opposite side with suitable tool (6) and remove
7	Screw bolt (9) into the first of three holes as shown in Fig 1 until a perceptible resistance can be felt	The bolt (9) is not included in the package contents of the outside mirror fold-back motor (1) and must be ordered separately.
8	Disconnect mirror housing (11) on mirror base (10) by turning in direction of arrow	The mirror housing (11) and mirror base (10) are connected to one another by a bayonet lock.
9	Unscrew bolt (9) from hole
10	Pull wiring harness (8) out of mirror base (10)
11	Unlock catch hook (13) and slightly lift mirror plate (12)
12	Unlock catch hook (14) and remove mirror plate (12) from mirror housing (11)
13	Unlock retaining clip (15) and remove connector (16) from outside mirror fold-back motor (1)
14	Remove bolts (17)
15	Pull out outside mirror fold-back motor (1)
16	Install in the reverse order
