	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003LW
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
2	Remove left or right rail		AR07.03-P-1010MMV
3	Mark fuel injectors (Y76) relative to the respective cylinder	If fuel injectors (Y76) are replaced, the transport protective caps on the fuel injectors (Y76) should not be removed until one hour before assembly at the earliest. Leaks can occur otherwise. When reusing the fuel injectors (Y76) they must be inserted into the cylinder in which it was previously installed.
4	Remove fuel injectors (Y76) from the cylinder head	The fuel injectors (Y76) must be installed together with the rail. ↓ Damage can occur to the rail otherwise.

		After installation of new fuel injectors (Y76) a control unit adaptation must take place over the diagnostic system. ↓ Attach diagnostic system and store injector quantity compensation (IMA) coding in ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)

		In case of jammed fuel injectors (Y76). ↓ Remove fuel injector with extractor

5	Replace sealing rings (2) and seals (4) on the fuel injectors (Y76)
6	Replace sealing rings (3) for fuel injectors (Y76)		AR07.03-P-0004-01MM
		Fuel injectors (Y76) must be installed immediately after calibration of the sealing rings (3). The sealing rings (3) swell under the influence of the air humidity and can therefore be damaged during assembly.

7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Carry out an engine test run while checking fuel system for leak tightness
