| 4 | Detach charge air cooler and pull with attached coolant lines to the front | AR09.41-P-6819MMV | |
| 5 | Remove catalytic converter (11, 12) | AR49.10-P-5500LW | |
| 6 | Remove screw/bolts (6, 8) and unscrew nuts (7, 10) | *BA09.40-P-1012-01W | |

| 7 | Remove heat shield (4) and heat shield (14) from holding clamps | ||
| 8 | Lift out heat shield (4, 14) upwards | ||
| 9 | Detach right or left coolant return line (2R or 2L) on air intake pipe (13, 15) | ||
| 10 | Detach left coolant return line (2L) on oil filter housing and thermostat housing | ||
| 11 | Detach right or left oil line return line (2R or 2L) at connection for coolant hose (3) | ||
| 12 | Detach right or left coolant return line (2R or 2L) on ATL | ||
