	Remove/install
1.1	Fold up and hook in rear load compartment floor (1)	Model 205.0/1 except code ME04 (Mild hybrid drive) except code ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin)) Model 253
1.2	Remove rear load compartment floor (1)	Model 205.2 except code ME04 (Mild hybrid drive) except code ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin))
2	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery		AR54.10-P-0003LW
3	Open service flap (2) and push cover for spare wheel well (3) far enough to one side until the rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) is accessible	Model 205.0/1/2 except code ME04 (Mild hybrid drive) except code ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin))
4	Remove spare wheel well paneling (3)	Model 253
5	Release housing (4) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) then remove from bracket (5)
6	Turn housing (4) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) and remove bolts (6)
7	Unclip rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) from the housing (4) using a suitable tool on catch hook (7) and remove housing (4)
8	Remove cable ties (8)	Replace cable tie (8).
9	Unclip fuse holder (9) in center and place to one side	The number of fuse holders (9) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment.
10	Unclip fuse holder (10) at side and place to one side	The number of fuse holders (10) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment.
11	Disconnect electrical connections (11) from rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)	The number of electrical connections (11) may vary, depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
12	Unscrew nut (12) and place electrical line to one side	Nut, positive line to rear fuse and relay module	*BA54.15-P-1001-01K
13	Unscrew nut (13) and place electrical line to one side	If installed.
		Nut, positive line to rear fuse and relay module	*BA54.15-P-1001-01K
14	Remove rear fuse and relay module (K40/5)
15	Install in the reverse order
