	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. 	Remove/install
1	Disconnect ground line for on-board electrical system battery (G1)		AR54.10-P-0003LW
2	Take out vehicle tool kit stowage bog/tray (1)
3	Unclip electrical line (4) on housing (6)
4	Unclip positive terminal cover (2)
5	Disconnect positive line (3) of on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Nut, electrical line to negative terminal/positive terminal for on-board electrical system battery	*BA54.10-P-1004-01A
6	Detach vent hose (9) from on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Check that the vent hose (9) is correctly seated. Otherwise leaking battery vapor may damage the vehicle.
7	Remove screw/bolts (5)	Bolt, mounting frame bow for battery to battery frame	*BA54.10-P-1008-01A
8	Remove housing (6)
9	Unscrew screw/bolt (7)	Bolt, battery mounting rail to battery frame	*BA54.10-P-1001-01A
10	Remove mounting rail (8)
11	Remove on-board electrical system battery (G1) from vehicle
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Confirm battery change in front SAM control unit in "Actuations" menu item	When replacing the on-board electrical system battery (G1).
