Component description for 360 degree viewing system control unit - GF54.65-P-5003RF
MODEL 205, 253 with CODE 501 (360° camera)
Shown: Model 205.0
Location
The 360° camera control unit is located on the left sidewall in the trunk.
Task
The 360° camera control unit has the following tasks:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
- Output of signals
Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in over the following connections:
- Low voltage differential signal line (LVDS)
- User interface CAN (CAN HMI)
LVDS line
The picture data of the following components are read in via a low voltage differential signaling line in each case:
- Left 360° outside mirror camera (B84/7)
- Right 360° outside mirror camera (B84/8)
- Camera, front 360° camera (B84/9)
- Camera, rear 360° camera (B84/10)
User interface CAN
The signals for activating the 360° camera and for calculating the representation in the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) are read in by the 360° camera control unit over the user interface CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The signals for activating the Audio/COMAND display are sent by the 360° camera control unit over the user interface CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.
Output of signals
The 360° camera control unit transmits the visual data via an LVDS line to the head unit (A26/17).
