Parking system, general 

The parking systems assist the driver when parking, exiting parking spaces and maneuvering, either actively or passively in accordance with their configuration. In both cases, the parking systems contribute to enhancing ride comfort and road safety.

The parking systems are based on the optical detection of obstacles and on the detection of obstacles via ultrasonic measurement.

The following parking systems are available and they are described in separate documents:
