Remove/install telematics services communications module control unit - AR82.85-P-0020LWH

MODEL 205.0/2 with CODE 350 (Ecall emergency call system, Europe) with CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin)) 

MODEL 205.0/2 with CODE B54 (Live Traffic Information) with CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin))

DANGER Risk of death  when touching components on vehicles with high-voltage on-board electrical system Do not touch components and open lines of the high-voltage on-board electrical system. Persons who wear electronic implants (e.g. cardiac pacemakers), must not carry out any work on high-voltage on-board electrical systems. AS54.00-Z-0001-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform initial startup of telematics services communications module (N112/1) When replacing telematics services communications module (N112/1).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key    
3.1 Remove load compartment floor rear section (1) MODEL 205.0
with CODE 350 (Ecall emergency call system, Europe)
with CODE ME06 (Hybrid drive 50-KW variant (incl. plugin))

3.2 Fold down load compartment floor rear section (1) MODEL 205.2
with CODE 350 (Ecall emergency call system, Europe)

4 Remove cover (2)    
5 Remove rear fuse and relay module (3) from bracket (4) and place to one side with electrical lines connected    
6 Remove trailer recognition control unit from bracket (4) and place to one side with electrical lines connected MODEL 205.0/2

7 Remove bracket (4) and place to one side, as shown IMPORTANT The rear SAM control unit must not be removed from the bracket (4).  
8 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (5) IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors (5) can vary depending on the equipment installed.  
9 Unscrew nuts (6)    
10 Remove telematics services communications module (N112/1)    
11 Install in the reverse order
