	Remove/install
1.1	Remove left and right side bolster	Model 205.0/1 with code 287 (Folding rear seat backrests) Model 205.2
			AR91.12-P-1710LW
1.2	Remove rear seat cushion	Model 253
			AR91.12-P-1020LW
2	Disconnect and unclip left rear backrest heater pad electrical connector (X54/39) and right rear backrest heater pad electrical connector (X54/40)	Model 205.1 with code 287 (Folding rear seat backrests) with code 872 (Heated rear seats) Model 253 with code 872 (Heated rear seats)
3	Release right backrest (1) and fold forward
4	Unscrew screw/bolt (7)	Bolt, outer pivot bearing to body	*BA91.12-P-1003-03M
5	Remove locking plate (14)	Replace locking plate (14).
6	Disconnect electrical connector at right rear backrest inclination switch (S54/6)
7	Disconnect right rear backrest release actuator electrical connector (X77/2)	Model 205.2 Model 253 Model 253 The right rear backrest release actuator electrical connector (X77/2) is beneath the right backrest (1).
8	Detach right backrest (1) from center backrest (2)	Do not tilt right backrest (1) and fitting (8). Otherwise the spacer rings (11) in the right backrest (1) may be damaged.
9	Release center backrest (2) and fold forward
10	Remove screws/bolts (9) at fitting (10) of center backrest (2)	Bolt, center pivot bearing to body	*BA91.12-P-1004-03M
11	Detach center backrest (2) from left backrest (3)	Do not jam center backrest (2) and fitting (10). Otherwise the spacer rings (11) in the center backrest (2) and the fitting (10) may be damaged.
12	Remove bolt (6)	Screw/bolt, rear belt buckle	*BA91.40-P-1009-01U
13	Remove left belt buckle (5) and place to one side with lines connected	Install components in correct positions.
14	Remove belt end fitting (4)	Install components in correct positions.
15	Release left backrest (3) and fold forward
16	Remove screws/bolts (9) at fitting (10) of left backrest (3)	Bolt, center pivot bearing to body	*BA91.12-P-1004-03M
17	Remove screw/bolt (13)	Bolt, outer pivot bearing to body	*BA91.12-P-1003-03M
18	Remove locking plate (15)	Replace locking plate (15).
19	Disconnect electrical connector at left rear backrest inclination switch (S54/5)
20	Disconnect left rear backrest release actuator electrical connector (X77/1)	Model 205.2 Model 253 Model 253 The left rear backrest release actuator electrical connector (X77/1) is beneath the left backrest (3).
21	Remove left backrest (3)	Do not tilt fittings (10, 12). Otherwise the spacer rings (11) in the left backrest (3) and at the fitting (10) may be damaged.
22	Install in the reverse order
