For do-it-yourself installation, print out the detailed assembly instructions and hand over to the customer. The reduced towing capacity must be amended/registered in the vehicle papers at an approved inspection station. Inform the customer that the trailer hitch may be loaded with a permitted total braked and non-braked load of 400 kg. The customer must confirm in writing that he was informed of this. The customer information form must be filed in a tamperproof manner at the workshop. |
