Remove/install sealing for crank window on rear door - AR72.12-P-1911LW

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove door liner (2) from rear door   AR72.12-P-1010LW 
2 Remove window frame paneling (3) IMPORTANT The window frame paneling (3) is fastened positively to the window frame and additionally clipped into the window frame with a retaining clip (3.1).  
3 Remove inner sealing rail (4) NOTES
Carefully lift inner sealing rail (4) out of bead on inner door panel.
Otherwise the inner sealing rail (4) can deform and must be replaced.

4 Insert strip of paper (7) at rear end of stationary window (8) between outer sealing rail (5) and trim piece (6) Model 205.0/2

NOTES
Paper strips (7) are intended to protect the trim piece (6).
Otherwise the trim piece (6) can be scratched.
 
5 Remove outer sealing rail (5) starting at rear end of stationary window (8) NOTES
Carefully lift outer sealing rail (5) out of inner door panel rabbet using base as aid.
Otherwise the outer sealing rail (5) can deform or the paint be scratched.

6 Carefully detach window divider (9) in upper area from side window seal (1) and remove upward SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Figure
7 Detach seal (1.1) from B-pillar cover (10)    
8 Pull out window guide seal (1.2) in area of B-pillar cover (10)    
9 Unscrew bolts (11) from B-pillar cover (10)    
10 Remove B-pillar cover (10)    
11 Lift trim piece (6) out of side window seal (1) starting at rear of stationary window (8) and remove Model 205.0/2

NOTES
Carefully lift out trim piece (6).
Otherwise the trim piece (6) can bend and must be replaced.

12 Pull out window guide seal (1.3) in are of stationary window (8)    
13 Remove side window seal (1) starting at installation location of B-pillar cover (10)    
INSTALLING Install     
14 Moisten side window seal (1) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
15 Install side window seal (1) in window frame starting at upper edge of stationary window (8) IMPORTANT Ensure that side window seal (1) makes firm contact with seal on stationary window (8) (arrow A).  
16 Moisten window guide seal (1.3) in assembly area "a" with soapy water    
17 Moisten window guide seal (1.3) in assembly area "b" with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
18 Push window guide seal (1.3) downward into window guide rail    
19 Fasten window guide seal (1.3) at stationary window (8) IMPORTANT Ensure that window guide seal (1.3) is seated correctly, particularly in the corner area.  
20 Install B-pillar cover (10)    
21 Unscrew bolts (11) on B-pillar cover (10)    
22 Moisten seal (1.1) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
23 Insert seal (1.1) into B-pillar cover (10)    
24 Moisten window guide seal (1.2) in assembly area "c" with soapy water    
25 Moisten window guide seal (1.2) in assembly area "d" with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
26 Push window guide seal (1.2) downward into window guide rail    
27 Fasten window guide seal (1.2) to B-pillar cover (10) IMPORTANT Ensure that window guide seal (1.2) is seated correctly, particularly in the corner area.  
28 Install window separator bar (9) Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
29 Moisten profiled section of trim piece (6) and side window cover (1) in assembly area of trim piece (6) with lubricant Model 205.0/2

30 Install trim piece (6) in side window seal (1) starting at B-pillar cover (10) Model 205.0/2

31 Fasten strip of paper (7) on trim piece (6) Model 205.0/2

32 Moisten rubber seal on outer sealing rail (5) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
33 Install outer sealing rail (5) IMPORTANT The outer sealing rail (5) must be flush with the edge of the door paneling.  
34 Moisten rubber seal on inner sealing rail (4) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
35 Install inner sealing rail (4)    
36 Install window frame paneling (3)    
37 Install door lining (2) on rear door   AR72.12-P-1010LW
