- Trunk lid release button (S15/1) (model 205.0/1 except CODE 881 (Remote trunk closing))
- Driver trunk lid/liftgate control button (S15/3) (model 205.0/1 with CODE 881/Remote trunk closing) or model 205.2, 253 with CODE 890 (EASY-PACK liftgate))
- Refueling intention detection switch (S62/20) (model 205.012/047/147/212/247)
- Left front door central locking inside door handle switch (S85/5)

The left front door control unit reads in the following signals via the interior CAN:
- Terminal status of terminal 15
- 'Reverse gear engaged' signal
- Open/close central locking (CL) request
- PRE-SAFE® adjustment request (with CODE 299 (PRE-SAFE® system))
- Move to memory position request (with CODE 275 (Memory package))
- Convenience feature request
- Crash signal

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

- Door status (open/closed)
- Adjusting right outside mirror request
- Opening/closing request for power windows
- Convenience feature mode (with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO))
- Convenience feature direction (with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO))
- Seat ventilation request with CODE 401 (Seat climate control for driver and front passenger))
- Seat heater request (with CODE 401 (Seat climate control for driver and front passenger) or CODE 873 (Seat heater for driver and front passenger))
- Seat adjustment request (with CODE 221 (Electrically adjustable left driver seat) or CODE 275 (Memory package))
