Remove/install lock cylinder on glove compartment lock - AR68.10-P-1250W

	Remove
1	Insert emergency key (4) into lock cylinder (1) and move to 45° position	Turn emergency key (4) approx. 45° clockwise to 45° position, see Fig 1.
2	Pull lock cylinder (1) and emergency key (4) out of glove compartment lock housing (5)	Hold glove box lock housing (5).
	Check
3	Check position of edge (arrow A) on cam (3) in glove box lock housing (5), if necessary adjust at edges (arrow B)	The cam (3) can be turned at the edges (arrow B). Do not press on cam (3) in axial direction. The cam (3) can be pressed out from the glove box lock housing (5). The edge (arrow A) of the cam (3) must be at approx. 45° as shown in Fig 2. On right-hand drive vehicles the positions of the edges (arrow A and B) are turned 180° as shown in Fig 2.
	Install
4	Insert lock cylinder (1) into glove box lock housing (5) in 45° position using emergency key (4)	Lock cylinder (1) should arrest noticeably.
5	Pull emergency key (4) out of lock cylinder (1)
