Remove/install park pawl battery - AR54.10-P-0121NKB

MODEL 117, 156, 176, 246 with TRANSMISSION 724 with CODE 4U7 (Start/stop voltage dip protector) 

MODEL 242 with ENGINE 270 with TRANSMISSION 724 with CODE 4U7 (Start/stop voltage dip protector)

DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit Except code 889 (Keyless-Go)  
1.2 Switch off ignition and remove KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit With code 889 (KEYLESS-GO)  
2 Move front passenger seat toward rear    
3 Fold back floor covering (1) in front passenger footwell    
4 Unlock lock (2) upwards (arrow) a lift out additional battery (G1/7) until ground line (3) and positive line (4) are accessible    
5 Disconnect ground line (3) from additional battery (G1/7)    
6 Disconnect positive line (4) from additional battery (G1/7)    
7 Remove additional battery (G1/7)    
8 Install in the reverse order
