| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Move front passenger seat toward rear | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key at a location beyond transmitter range (at least 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Fold back floor covering in front passenger footwell. | ||
| 4 | Release lock (4) upwards (arrow) and remove additional battery (1) far enough until the ground line electrical connection (2) and the positive line electrical connection (3) are accessible | ||
| 5 | Detach ground line electrical connection (2) from additional battery (1) | ||
| 6 | Detach positive line electrical connection (3) from additional battery (1) | ||
| 7 | Remove additional battery (1) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
