Remove/install drive cable for panoramic sunroof roller sun blind - AR77.21-P-0230NKB

MODEL 242 with CODE 413 (Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof) 

MODEL 246 with CODE 413 (Panoramic glass roof with top sliding roof)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove roller blind cassette (2)   AR77.21-P-0205NKB 
2 Move front roller sun blind slider (3) and rear roller sun blind slider (4) to "roller sun blind OPEN" position    
3 Unclip left and right end stops (5) from guide rails (6) at an angle toward inside and upward NOTES
Carefully unclip stops (5) to prevent breaking. Broken off pieces in the operating area of the guide and sliding parts can lead to damage to the panoramic roof.
 
4 Remove left and right slider on rear roller sun blind (4) from guide rails (6) toward front IMPORTANT If one of the rear roller sun blind sliders (4) is defective, it is necessary to replace both rear roller sun blind sliders (4).  
5 Remove panoramic sliding roof roller sun blind drive unit from panoramic sliding sun roof frame (7)   AR77.21-P-0490NKB 
IMPORTANT Do not separate electrical connector from panoramic sliding roof roller sun blind drive unit.  
6 Pull left and right roller blind drive cable (1) toward rear with extraction hook (8) until left and right front roller sun blind slider (3) can be removed from guide rails (6) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Position left and right roller blind drive cables (1) in corresponding guide rail (6), so that the left and right driver (9) is flush with the end of the guide rail (6) in question. This ensures that the roller sun blinds are actuated equally later.  
SPECIAL TOOL Extraction hook Fig 2
7 Remove left and right front roller sun blind sliders (3) from guide rails (6) toward rear IMPORTANT If one of the front roller sun blind sliders (3) is defective, it is necessary to replace both front roller sun blind sliders (3).  
8 Do not pull drive cable for roller sun blind (1) out of guide tube (6) IMPORTANT Always replace roller blind drive cables (1) in pairs.  
9 Install in the reverse order
