| 1 | Switch off ignition | ||
| 2 | Remove cover (2) under lower section of instrument panel at left (1) | AR68.10-P-1500RK | |
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) | ||
| 4 | Remove bolts (4) and remove adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5) with bracket (5) and place in footwell | ||
| 5 | Pull out locking slide (7a) and locking slide (11a) on the adaptive damping system control unit (N515) all the way in the direction of the arrow and detach electrical connectors (8, 10) | ||
| 6 | Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (9) on adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5) | ||
| 7 | Remove bolts (6) and remove adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5) from bracket (5) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Check vehicle level at front and rear axle with electronic inclinometer and adjust if necessary | AR40.20-P-0301RK | |
| 10 | Perform control unit adaptation with XENTRY |
