	Install
1	Remove air filter housing	Model 231 with engine 157, 278, 279 Model 231 with engine 279 with code 460 (Canada version) with code 494 (US version)	AR09.10-P-1150MUC
		Model 231 with engine 279 except code 460 (Canada version) except code 494 (US version)	AR09.10-P-1150RKC
2	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter
3	Unscrew bolt (4) on retaining tab (5) of hydraulic fluid reservoir (6)	Model 231 with code 487 (Active Body Control (ABC))
4	Detach lines (2) from bracket (3)	Threaded rod (1) of engine hoist (02) is positioned between the lines (2).
5	Remove fender liner in right fender	Model 231 with engine 279	AR88.10-P-1300RK
6.1	Unscrew bolts (14) and remove heat shield (13) from traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3)	Model 231 with engine 279 Bolt/nut, bracket for hydraulic unit to body	*BA42.45-P-1004-01M
6.2	Unscrew bolt (9) from bracket (10)	Model 231 with engine 157, 276, 278 Bolt/nut, bracket for hydraulic unit to body	*BA42.45-P-1004-01M
7	Remove circulation pump (11) with lines connected from bracket and place to one side
8	Attach adapter (01) to bracket (10)	Adapter kit	Fig 6
9	Preassemble engine hoist (02)	Engine lifting device	Fig 4
10	Position preassembled engine hoist (02) on the suspension strut towers, longitudinal members and adapter (01)	Position engine hoist carefully. Otherwise the left front body acceleration sensor (B24/3) or right front body acceleration sensor (B24/4) can get damaged or lines and hoses could get pinched in the area of longitudinal members. 11	Adjust engine hoist (02) and tighten bolted connections
12	Mount rear lifting eye onto front of engine	Model 231 with engine 157, 278	AR33.10-P-0105-01SX
		Bolt, lifting eye to cylinder head	*BA01.30-P-1006-01X

13	Fit shackle (8) to front engine suspension lug
14	Tighten turnbuckle (12) and tauten hoist (7)
	Remove
15	Remove in the reverse order
