Remove paneling from trunk lid |

Remove circlip (1) |

Punch out bolts (2) with suitable tool toward front from side flap motor (M49/1) |
Side flaps (5) must be freely flexible. |

Disconnect electrical connector (4) |

Unscrew bolts (3) and pull side flap motor (M49/1) toward front until the bolts (2) on the rear of the side flap motor (M49/1) are accessible |

Fold in side flaps (5) |
|

| 7 |
Press bolts (2) into side flap motor (M49/1) from front |
The side flaps (5) must be folded in completely. Ensure that gear on side flap motor (M49/1) and gear coincide correctly. |

Install circlip (1). |

Screw in screws (3) |
|
|
| 10 |
Connect electrical connector (4) |

| 11 |
Install trunk lid paneling |
