5	Detach coolant hoses from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (2)
6	Remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (2)
7	Relieve fuel pressure over diagnostic socket		AR07.03-P-1460-01MUB

9	Detach air pump 1 switchover valve (Y32/1) from bracket (5) and place to one side
10	Detach air pump switchover valve (Y101) from bracket (5) and place to one side
11	Detach boost pressure control pressure transducer (Y77/1) from bracket (5) and place to one side
12	Detach air pump 2 switchover valve (Y32/2) from bracket (5) and place to one side
13	Remove cable ties (6)
14	Pull vacuum line (7) off check valve (8)
15	Remove screw/bolt (9)	Screw/bolt, purge line clamp to carrier	*BA09.41-P-1009-01Q
16	Unfasten retaining clips (11, 12)
17	Remove screw/bolts (10) and fold down bracket (5) with attached lines to the front	Screw/bolt, carrier to charge air distributor	*BA09.41-P-1007-01Q
18	Disconnect electrical connections at injection valves (Y62)
19	Disconnect electrical connections at ignition coils (T1)

21	Disconnect electrical connection on charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)
22	Disconnect electrical connection at pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (B28/7)
23	Disconnect electrical connection at coolant temperature sensor (B11/4)
24	Remove screw/bolt (13) and detach ground line (14)
25	Disconnect electrical connection at camshaft Hall sensor (B6/1)
26	Expose electrical wiring harness (15)
27	Expose vacuum lines (16)
28	Disconnect electrical connection for electrical line (17) from A/C compressor
29	Remove screw/bolts (18) and place cable duct (19) with engine wiring harness to one side	Screw/bolt, cable duct to charge air distributor	*BA15.18-P-1001-01D
30	Take out bracket (20)
31	Detach coolant pipe (21)

36	Detach coolant line and subharness at engine suspension lug (27)

39	Remove fuel distributor (29) with injection valves (Y62)	Replace O-rings of the injection valves (Y62). Apply lubricant paste O- rings.

41	Connect diagnostic system and read out fault memory

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 42	Carry out an engine test run and check fuel system for leaktightness
