Remove/install rear passenger compartment handset cradle - AR82.70-P-8972LF

with CODE 855 (Telephone with handset in rear) 

without CODE 224 (First-Class rear compartment) 

MODEL 222 

with CODE 856 (Business Telephony in the rear) 

without CODE 224 (First-Class rear compartment)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Open stowage compartment in armrest    
2 Remove rear handset (A34/16)    
3 Unclip cover (1) in area of arrows (A) with a long wedge, remove and turn around SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Figure
4 Remove electrical connector (3) from guide and disconnect    
5 Disconnect electrical connector (4)    
6 Expose wiring harness    
7 Remove connector housing of electrical connector (3) at electrical wiring harness (2) SPECIAL TOOL New passenger car wiring harness repair kit Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL Wring harness repair kit, basic Fig 4
8 Remove bolts (5)    
9 Guide electrical wiring harness (2) through opening (arrow B) in cover (1)    
10 Remove rear handset bracket (A34/13)    
11 Install in the reverse order
