	Adjust
1	Deactivate easy entry and exit feature for steering wheel through COMAND Online in Vehicle settings menu	Depending on the version, the steering wheel and possibly also the driver's seat move to a different position when, for example, the driver door is opened or closed. The driver's seat may be damaged when the brake pedal jack is installed. Detailed procedure available in vehicle owner's manual.
2	Move front wheels to straight ahead position
3	Fix steering wheel in center position using retainer (055); to do this, insert the retainer (055) in front of the sun visor	Protect the emblem in the steering wheel against damage. Otherwise the holding device (055) may make an indent on the emblem. Retainer device	Fig 4

4	Check center positions (arrows) of steering gear and steering wheel	If the steering gear is not in the center position (arrows): ↓	AR46.20-P-0600-01RK
		Move steering wheel by one tooth only.	AR46.10-P-0100LF
5	Release jam nuts (2) on tie rods (1)	Counterhold tie rods (1) while doing so. Otherwise the tie rods (1) will be damaged.
