Inspect front axle joint for play, inspect rubber boots - AP33.20-P-3353HA

INSPECT Check     
DANGER Risk of injury  . Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of the mechanism when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Raise vehicle using vehicle lift until the wheels are clear of the ground    
2 Check rubber boots (7m) and supporting ball joints (7k) on spring control arm (7) IMPORTANT Check rubber boots (7m) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating. Check the supporting joints (7k) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the spring control arms (7).
If there are problems:

Replace spring control arm (7) subject to separate repair order.
 
3 Check rubber boots (8m) on upper ball joints (8k) of upper transverse control arm (8) IMPORTANT Check rubber boots (8m) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating. Check upper ball joints (8k) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the transverse control arms (8).
If there are problems:

Replace transverse control arm (8) subject to separate repair order.
 
4 Check rubber boots (18m) and ball joints (18k) of strut rods (18) IMPORTANT Check rubber boots (18m) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating. Check ball joints (18k) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the torque struts (18).
If there are problems:

Replace strut rod subject to separate repair order (18).
 
5 Check rubber boots (10m) and ball joints (10k) of link rods (10) IMPORTANT Check rubber boots (10m) for condition, leaktightness and correct seating. Check ball joints (10k) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the link rods (10).
If there are problems:

Replace link rod (10) subject to separate repair order.
