	Emergency release
1	Unlock vehicle and manually open the trunk lid
2	Carefully pry the right side cover (1) off the threaded pin (2) to the rear	Mounting wedge	Fig 2
3	Remove the emergency release cable (3) from the threaded pin (2)
4	Pull the emergency release cable (3) in the direction of the arrow and unplug the charger cable plug (4) from the charger feed socket	By pulling the emergency release cable (3), the turntable of the mechanical emergency release on the actuator motor of the electrical release is twisted and the charger cable plug (4) is released.
5	Connect emergency release cable (3) to threaded pin (2)
6	Press right side cover (1) onto threaded pin (2)
7	Close charger feed socket flap
8	Close socket flap in the bumper
