Navigation 20 electrical connector, component description - GF82.60-P-5003AZ

Location 

The navigation 20 electrical connector is located in the glove compartment.

IMPORTANT The navigation 20 electrical connector is installed in two variants: As a docking station (in generation 1) or as a connecting cable (in generation 2). In the docking station variant, the glove compartment lamp (E13/1) is integrated into the navigation 20 electrical connector.

Task 

Relaying signals 

IMPORTANT The AUX jack electrical connector (X39/45) (except code (518) Media interface) is not operational in vehicles with navigation 20.

The media interface electrical connector (X18/70) (with code (518) Media interface) is not operational in vehicles with navigation 20 up to 28.2.2011.

In vehicles with navigation 20 and code (518) Media interface, as of 1.3.2011, the navigation 20 electrical connector is installed as a USB connector in the glove compartment, but it is exclusively used for service purposes (software and map data update).
