Remove/install mixing chamber - AR09.20-P-1320CD

ENGINE 651 in MODEL 166, 172, 204, 207, 212, 218, 221

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove cylinder head cover trim    
2 Remove firewall cover on the left (16) MODEL 172  
3 Remove vacuum reservoir   AR07.09-P-0001CD
4 Remove power steering pump and place aside with lines attached Model 166, 172, 207, 212 (except 212.098/298), 218, 221  
    Models 172, 207, 212 (except 212.098/298) AR46.30-P-0500EWI
    MODEL 221 AR46.30-P-0500SX
5 Remove screw/bolts (3, 4), swivel exhaust gas recirculation cooler (5) together with attached coolant lines upwards, place to one side and fix in place INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seal.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, exhaust heat exchanger to valve housing *BA14.20-P-1001-01K 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, support brace for vacuum reservoir and exhaust heat exchanger to Y-support brace *BA14.20-P-1006-01K 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, exhaust heat exchanger support to oil filter module *BA14.20-P-1017-01K 
6 Remove screw/bolts (1) and remove EGR line (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seals.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation pipe to charge air manifold *BA14.20-P-1008-01K 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation pipe to valve housing *BA14.20-P-1009-01K 
7 Remove screw/bolts (6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, charge air manifold to charge air distribution line *BA09.41-P-1002-01N 
8 Disconnect electrical connection (8)    
9 Remove cable bracket (9) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Attach cable bracket (9) at the same position again.  
10 Remove screw/bolt (14), retaining clip (15) and place refrigerant line (13) to one side MODEL 172
TORQUE SPECIFICATION To ensure that access to screw/bolts (11) is given.		  
11 Remove screw/bolts (12) and place bracket to one side TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, charge air manifold to charge air line *BA09.41-P-1004-01N 
12 Unscrew screw/bolts (11) and take off mixing chamber (7) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace seals.  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, charge air manifold to fastening plate *BA09.41-P-1003-01N 
13 Install in the reverse order
