	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; additionally screen off hazardous area if necessary. 1	Detach rear complete wheel

		Empty and fill the AIRmatic as per the specifications; the complete wheels must not be touching the ground. Otherwise the air springs (2) may be predamaged and subsequently malfunction.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
3	Detach pressure line (1) from air spring (2)	Seal connections with blind plugs.

4	Detach air spring (2) on upper frame from retaining clip (3)	Do not pull air bellows and do not twist air spring (2). Otherwise the air spring (2) will be damaged.
5	Remove air spring (2) upwards	To do so, push air spring (2) out of lower crossmember and push together upwards. If baffle (24b) is fitted, check it is correctly seated. Check cover (2a) is correctly seated on air spring (2). Align molding of air spring (2) to notch in lower crossmember (arrow).
6	Remove retaining clip (3)	Remove rest of retaining clip (3) from air spring (2) and frame floor assembly. Fit new retaining clip (3) to frame floor assembly.
7	Install in the reverse order
