	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Remove respective section of the underfloor paneling	TRANSMISSION 722.9 in MODEL 166	AR61.30-P-1001GQ
2	Remove drain screw from transmission oil pan	Collect escaping ATF with drain pan. Note automatic transmission oil quantity. It is not  necessary to pry off the overflow pipe from the base of the transmission oil pan. Drainage trough
3	Unscrew nuts (7) on engine crossmember (8)	Bolt/nut, connecting rear engine mount to rear engine crossmember	*BA22.10-P-1004-03G
4	Lift the transmission (3) at transfer case (6)	Transmission jack
5	Disconnect electrical connection (1) from electric transmission oil pump (M42)
6	Detach wiring harness (2) from transmission (3) and place to one side
7	Unscrew screws/bolts (4a, 4b) from electric transmission oil pump (M42) and remove electric transmission oil pump (M42)	The screw/bolt (4b) must be removed with the electric transmission oil pump (M42). The screw/bolt (4b) remains in the housing. Insert the screw/bolt (4b) into the housing before installing the electric transmission oil pump (M42).

8	Lever out connectors (5) using a suitable tool	Replace sealing grommets of connectors (5) when reinstalling and insert connectors (5) only into electric transmission oil pump (M42).
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Fill transmission (3) with oil		AR27.00-P-0270W
	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Perform engine test run and check transmission (3) for function and leaks
