Remove/install radiator - AR20.20-P-3865GQ

ENGINE 642, 651 in MODEL 166 

MODIFICATION NOTES

24.5.12 Nut/bolt, high-pressure line to fluid reservoir MODEL 166 *BA83.30-P-1001-01J

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid. Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
1 Drain air conditioning system INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Evacuate air conditioning system, refill it and check it for proper operation and leak tightness. AR83.30-P-1760CW
2 Remove fan unit (1)   AR20.40-P-5050GQ 
3 Drain coolant at radiator (2)   AR20.00-P-1142GQ 
NOTES Notes on coolant   AH20.00-N-2080-01A
4 Detach coolant hoses (3) at the radiator (2)   AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
5 Remove oil cooling lines on transmission cooler (5) and place to one side with transmission 722.9  
AR27.55-P-0600GQ
6 Remove refrigerant lines on condenser (6) and place to one side INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new sealing rings.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut/bolt, high-pressure line to fluid reservoir *BA83.30-P-1001-01J 
7 Remove expansion rivet (4) and cooler package upwards    
8 Unclip transmission cooler (5) and condenser (6) with retaining frame on cooler (2) (arrows) IMPORTANT The transmission cooler (5) and condenser (6) create a unit.  
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Check transmission oil level and correct if necessary   AR27.00-P-0270W
NOTES Follow the prescribed work procedure exactly and observe the Specifications for Operating Fluids.
The transmission will otherwise be damaged.
 
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11 Perform an engine test run and check coolant system around radiator (2) for leaks   AR20.00-P-1010GQ
