Adjust parking brake - AR42.20-P-0540GW

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1 Raise vehicle   AR00.60-P-1000G
2 Remove a wheel bolt from wheel    
3 Turn wheel so that the pinion (3a) on the brake adjuster (3) can be operated through the wheel bolt opening    
4 Continue turning the brake adjuster (33) with the pinion until the brake linings are resting against the drum surface IMPORTANT The parking brake must be disengaged completely.  
5 Turn brake adjuster (2) back three detents. IMPORTANT The wheel must rotate freely without any perceptible resistance.  
6 Screw in and tighten wheel bolt IMPORTANT Tighten all wheel bolts on the wheel to torque.

7 Check parking brake on roller dynamometer and adjust if necessary   AR42.20-P-0550GW
