7.5.04

For accident prevention and safety reasons emergency tensioning retractor units may not be activated; furthermore these units may not be handed over to scrap dealers for waste disposal.

In Step 13, "Render emergency tensioning retractor unit unusable" has been removed.

	Remove/install

12	Remove automatic belt retractor (5)	Noise in the inertia reel during seat belt retraction is caused by operation. The only available response to negative customer feedback regarding unacceptable noise levels is to replace the seat belt assembly in its entirety. On no account should oil or grease be used to help eliminate noise. Automatic belt retractors (5) may not be opened, as otherwise the warranty is rendered null and void. Installation: Note different versions (left and right) of inertia reel.
