Location 

The Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit is located in the trunk at the left under the trim on the sidewall.

Signals are read in via the following connection:

Decoding of signals 

The Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit decodes the DAB L-band signals (up to 28.02.2011) and DAB band III signals into PCM signals (Pulse Code Modulation).

Transmitting signals 

The Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit transmits signals via the MOST:

Body 

In vehicles as of 01.07.2011 with CODE 512 (COMAND APS with DVD changer) or with CODE 527 (COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation)) and in all vehicles as 01.06.2012, the Digital Audio Broadcasting control unit is designed in the form of a twin tuner and supports the extended audio codec DAB+ and Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) audio.
