Remove outer rear wheel well - AR63.10-P-0660-01EW

MODEL 212, 218 

The following steps are shown on model 212.0.

1. Scribe separation point on outer rear wheel well (1) (area A).
2. Cut outer rear wheel well (1) at separation point (area A).

   Do not damage C-pillar.

3. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheel well (1) (areas B, B₁ and C).
4. Cut out spot welds on outer rear wheel well (1) (areas B, B₁ and C).
5. Remove damaged outer rear wheel well (1)

6. Sand connection surfaces down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.

   Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

7. Remove shavings and drill chips.
8. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
