Install outer rear wheel well - AR63.10-P-0670-06EW

MODEL 212, 218 

The following steps are shown on model 212.0.

1. Install outer rear wheel well (1), rear fender, taillamps and rubber seal and fit.
2. Check and adjust gaps.
3. Fix outer rear wheel well (1) and rear fender in place.
4. Remove taillamps and rubber seal.
5. Drill 6.7 mm Ø rivet holes in outer rear wheel well (1) (area E).
6. Remove rear fender and outer rear wheel well (1).
7. Deburr rivet holes on outer rear wheel well (1) on both sides.
8. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

9. Install outer rear wheel well (1), fit and fix in place.
10. Rivet outer rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.4 X 14 Polygrip flat/round head rivet (area I).
11. Outer rear wheel well (1) (areas F, G, G₁ , H and J).

    Always replace damaged foam parts which can no longer be used. New foam parts are available only from the responsible Daimler departments.

12. Clean weld joints.
13. Remove drilling chips.
