The bonding area on the window (1) must be absolutely free of dust and grease. Otherwise the adhesive force of the adhesive material starts to decrease when installing the window.

1. Check window (1) for scratches and damage.

   When reusing window (1), if there are problems: Install new washer (1).

2. Fold over protective foil on inside of window (1) in lower toward inside area approx. 5 cm above screen print and fix in place on protective foil with suitable adhesive tape (arrows).

   When preparing windshield.

   Do not bond duct tape to protective coating on inside of window (1). Otherwise the protective coating can be damaged.

3. Clean inside of window (1) in lower area of glass cleaner.

   When preparing windshield.

   This area will be visible later but is no longer accessible after installation.

4. Clean bonding areas on window (1).
5. Coat bonding areas on window (1) with activator.

   Observe flash-off time for activator.

6. Coat adhesive areas on window (1) with primer.
7. Attach duct tape (2) for support bead on window (1).

   When preparing windshield.

8. Fasten electrical line for windshield heater to window (1) with duct tape.

   When preparing window with windshield heater.
