	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition
2.1	Remove radiator trim	MODEL 207 up to 5/31/13 up to model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) MODEL 212 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)
		MODEL 212 up to model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)	AR88.40-P-4001EW
		MODEL 212 as of model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) without CODE 772 (AMG body styling) without CODE 954 (AVANTGARDE)	AR88.40-P-4001EWM
		MODEL 212 as of model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with CODE 772 (AMG body styling) with CODE 954 (AVANTGARDE)	AR88.40-P-4001EWN

2.2	Remove cold air suction bridge	MODEL 207	AR88.40-P-4001EC
2.3	Remove intake air duct insert	MODEL 204 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS)
3	Remove cover (Mercedes star) on radiator trim	MODEL 204 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) MODEL 207 as of 6/1/13 as of model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) MODEL 212 as of model year 2014 with CODE 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) with CODE 772 (AMG body styling) with CODE 954 (AVANTGARDE) Loosen cover at the 3 catch hooks, on the inner side of the radiator trim.
4	Unlock and detach electrical connection (1) on DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)
5	Unscrew nuts (3) and remove electric controller unit DISTRONIC (A89) from bracket (2)
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Perform initialization of DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) with the diagnostic system
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
8	Perform calibration with diagnostic system	When replacing the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89).
	Perform calibration with diagnostic system		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
9	Read out fault memory using the diagnostic system and clear if necessary
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
