Removing/installing drive unit and motor for steering column adjustment - AR46.10-P-0626EW

MODEL 212, 218 with CODE (275) Electrically adjustable front seats memory package

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Remove steering column tube (7) NOTES The steering column in/out adjustment motor (M20/1) and the steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2) are extremely sensitive to lateral forces and impacts. Do not handle the steering column tube (7) by the steering column in/out adjustment motor (M20/1) and steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2), otherwise the motors will be damaged. AR46.10-P-0400EW 
2 Remove bolts (1)    
3 Push steering column in/out adjustment motor (M20/2) to one side and press flexible shaft (2) out of steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2) IMPORTANT Do not kink the flexible shaft (2).  
4 Remove steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2)    
5 Move height adjustment to lowest position; to do so, turn flexible shaft (2)    
6 Unscrew nut (4) from adjusting shaft (5) on steering column tube (7)    
7 Unscrew bolts (3) and remove plate (6) and adjusting shaft (5) with flexible shaft (2)    
8 Install in the reverse order
