Remove/install telescoping nozzle for headlamp cleaning system - AR82.15-P-6100EL

MODEL 218 up to model year 2015

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit MODEL 218
up to model year 2015
without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
 
1.2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit MODEL 218
up to model year 2015
 
2.1 Remove bottom section of soundproofing at front MODEL 218 with ENGINE 642, 651 up to model year 2015

2.2 Remove front engine compartment paneling MODEL 218 with ENGINE 157, 276, 278 up to model year 2015

3.1 Detach front bumper far enough to gain access to left or right telescopic nozzle (1) When removing the left or right telescopic nozzle (1) individually.

Gap dimensions on hoods, doors and lids AR60.00-P-0700-01EL

3.2 Remove front bumper When removing the left and right telescopic nozzle (1) together.  
AR88.20-P-2000EL
4 Remove screw/bolt (2) from left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) IMPORTANT Screw/bolt (2) remains in the left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2).  
5 Release catch hook (3) and slide telescopic nozzle (1) towards rear and guide pins (4, 5) out of left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Insert pins (4, 5) at left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) and engage catch hook (3).  
6 Slide telescopic nozzle (1) forwards until the hose coupling (7) is accessible    
7 Detach washer fluid hose (6) at hose coupling (7) from telescopic nozzle (1)    
8 Remove telescopic nozzle (1)    
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Check headlamp cleaning system spray nozzle settings and adjust if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE AP82.30-P-8252EW
