	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Unclip center instrument panel cover (1) and lift slightly	Carefully move clip remover (4) between instrument panel (2) and instrument panel cover (1) at marked points (arrows). Otherwise the catches on the center instrument panel cover (1) can be damaged.

2	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from front parking system warning indicator (A441)	MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC) MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 235 (Active Park Assist)
3	Disconnect electrical connector from sun sensor (B32/3)	MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 581 (Comfort automatic air conditioning)
4	Slightly pull center instrument panel cover (1) toward rear and remove upward
5	Unlock front parking system warning indicator (A44/1) and guide upward out of center instrument panel cover (1)	MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC) MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 235 (Active Park Assist) When replacing center instrument panel cover (1).
6	Unclip sun visor (B32/3) from center instrument panel cover (1)	MODEL 117, 156, 176 with CODE 581 (Comfort automatic air conditioning) When replacing center instrument panel cover (1).
7	Install in the reverse order
