- Drill the suspension strut from above in the area (D) using a drill bit (5 mm dia.) and allow the air to escape.
- Drill the suspension strut 30 mm (dimension A) from below using a drill bit (5 mm dia.) and allow the gas to escape.
- Drill suspension strut 90 mm (dimension B) from below using a drill bit (5 mm dia.) and allow hydraulic fluid to run out.
- Drill suspension strut 140 mm (dimension C) from below using a drill bit (5 mm dia.) (1st and 2nd wall) and allow hydraulic fluid.
- Pump the suspension strut empty by pushing in the piston rod several times.
- Dispose of suspension strut (removed part).
