Remove outer rear wheelhouse - AR63.10-P-0660-01SC

  1. Measure position of cut on outer rear wheelhouse (1) according to dimension (a) and scribe (area A). IMPORTANT Dimension (a) is 20 mm.
  2. Cut along broken line on outer rear wheelhouse (1) (area A).

    IMPORTANT Observe sheet metal and water drain hose below.

  3. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheelhouse (1) and cut out (areas B and B1 ).

  4. Expose spot welds on outer rear wheelhouse (1) and cut out (areas C, D and E).

  5. Heat outer rear wheelhouse (1) in shaded areas with hot air gun and remove damaged outer rear wheelhouse (1).

    IMPORTANT Cross-hatched areas are bonded.

    IMPORTANT For all other operation steps, observe information on pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

  6. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas on both sides (areas F, F1 , G, H, H1 , I and J).
  7. Remove grinding and drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  8. Coat insides of spot weld flange with zinc dust paint (areas F, F1 , G and H1 ).
